♡ Everyday Eye Makeup ♡

Hii! So I've always gotten complements on my eye shadow & people always ask me how I do it so I thought I would make a quick little blog about my eye makeup for anyone that was curious. :)

♡Getting Into Makeup:
The summer going into 7th grade, or maybe it was 6th, my sister went to church camp for a week, and dad went as a counselor so it was just my mom and I. She decided that she was going to make that week a special week for the two of us. She took me shopping, we went out to eat, got our nails done, stuff like that. One of the things she had planned, was taking me to Sephora to get my makeup done.
In 5th grade, I wore a tiny bit of mascara on my top eye lashes, and occasionally some blush, but that was about it. I liked looking pretty. (Even though, I didn't. I just felt pretty.) So my mom thought, that I would really enjoy getting my makeup done for real at a nice makeup store. Ever since that day, I have been a makeup addict. The lady used the Too Faced Natural Eye Palette and the Urban Decay Primer Potion. She used a brown eye liner marker and a really nice mascara. I had never felt prettier. She made it look very natural and very pretty. I loved the way it looked and I loved learning about the products and how to use them. My mom wasn't planning on getting her makeup done, but I begged her because I really wanted to watch how the lady did it. Ever since that day, I have wanted to know more and more about makeup. I really wanted to buy the products that she used, but as a 6th or 7th grader I didn't have any money. My mom said no. It was too expensive. We went to Target and picked out some similar colors from Maybelline and Cover girl. I used a brown Mary Kay Eye Liner. (my mom gets Mary Kay products half off.)
When I was in 7th grade, I still really wanted that Too Faced Natural Eye Palette. The maybelline eye shadows were close, but they weren't the same. I wanted a real palette. With really good quality eye shadows in it. Eventually I kind of forgot about it, until my mom surprised me with it for Christmas. I was so excited and had no clue how to use it. I didn't have a single brush, so I used a sponge applicator (the free ones that come with eye shadow) and it actually looked surprisingly good.
When I went back to school after Christmas break, I got a lot of compliments. My friends thought I was really good at makeup and wanted to know what I used. (I think like 10 of my friends have bought it because of me.) They were always wanting me to do their makeup, or show them how to do their own.

♡Products I've Tried: Basically, I have always loved and used the Too Faced Natural Eye Palette. I always use up the color I use for my base (Silk Teddy) before using up the rest of the palette. So I would keep rebuying the whole palette for one color. Which is such a waste.
So, this year, I have tried to branch out and use other eye shadows that are similar. Nothing compares though. "Kittten" by Stila is the best match I can find to Silk Teddy.
I tried the LORAC little black box palette, the naked 2 (which I love), and many single pots of eye shadows. I still however, always go back to the Too Faced Natural Eye Palette.
(If I do ever change up my eye shadow, I always use the Naked 2 Palette, it has the most perfect natural colors!)

♡Go-To Makeup For My Everyday Eye Look:
From the Too Faced Natural Eye Palette
Base: Silk Teddy
Crease: Push-Up
Outer Crease: Cocoa Puff + Expresso
Browbone: Heaven

Eye Liner: Maybelline Blackest Black Cream Eye Liner

Mascara: Double Extend Mascara from L'ORÉAL in Blackest Black

I hope I helped you out if you were curious about my everyday eye look! Thanks for reading! :) If you have any questions, leave a comment below. I would love to hear from youu! :) xx

♡ All About My Hair ♡

♡Messy Bun with Naturally Curly Hair♡

Hi! So I haven't posted since my April Favorites and I still don't know what to blog about or how it works. So bear with me. Anywhoooo, I constantly get asked questions about my hair, and on my YouTube my most popular video is my hair routine so I thought I would make a quick blog about it, incase anyone was curious. :)

♡ About My Hair: I have naturally curly hair. Although, it doesn't look quite like it does in the pictures when left natural. My hair naturally has the 'beachy' look. So it's not naturally super curly. When I was little it was very curly, and it was basically ringlets. As I got older, (and my hair got longer) it got less curly. So now, it kind of has the 'beachy' look naturally, but a little curlier. It's always different. It never, ever ever looks the same. I style it the same everyday, but there's always something different. Since it's not super curly or super straight, it is very versatile meaning I can style it many different ways; curly, straight, wavy, beachy, etc. I have never colored it, and I don't plan to unless it's just on the ends. (Ombre, but very natural and on the lower ends, since it's naturally somewhat ombré.)

♡Everyday Hair Routine: When I wake up, I go straight to the bathroom and wet my hair. (Since school starts early, I normally take my showers at night and just wet it down in the tub in the morning) Next, I brush it out, getting rid of any tangles. (There are usually quite a few.) Then I take a squirt or to of Ringlets (07) by Redken and scrunch it into my hair. (I flip my head upside down) Then I use the Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam and do the same. After I've applied both of those products, I take my towel and scrunch my hair, to soak up extra water. Then I flip my hair back to normal and fluff it a little with my fingers and let it air dry while I do my makeup.
Once I'm done with my makeup it's usually pretty dry. If it's still damp, I will blow dry it a little bit, but not enough to really change the look or anything like that. (No round brushing or using a defuser or anything like that) Then I curl the pieces towards the front that aren't how I like. Since my hair is naturally curly in the back, it all blends together well.

Hopefully, I helped you if you were curious about my hair and how I style it/ what it's like naturally. If you are still curious and haven't seen my YouTube video on it, you can check it out here.
If you have already watched it and you still have a question or anything, then feel free to leave a comment on this blog post or my video, I would love to hear from you! Thank youuu ♡ xx

PS. If you like my bun in the first picture, and would like to see a video on it, then let me know :) The headband is from Wet Seal. :) Thanks again! :) xx
